Who Are We?
The FP Association was re-formed after the fire in March 2001 to support the school in it’s temporary accommodation and to add weight to the clamour to have the building restored to it’s former glory.
With the school now back “home” our vision is to establish a fund to assist Morgan Academy in providing activities that will enhance the education of the pupils. All our members have a keen interest in seeing Morgan pupils achieving the best and fullest educational benefit from their time in school.

What Are We Doing?
Since 2001 we have given over £200,000 to the school, 2 mini buses, replaced the gates and railings at the bottom of the lawn, supported the Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, many educational trips in Scotland, England, France, Germany and USA, Study Support Groups.
We presented a new solid silver ‘STAR’ for the House Championship, supported Prize giving and many individuals with sporting representation and gap years. Funds were also provided for tablets for pupils and new musical instruments.
We have most recently donated funds to support the school’s Digital 1-1 device programme and we made funding avaliable to support the oppurtunities given to young people where financial barriers exist.
Museum
Established in the schools iconic tower, the museum collates many records, photographs and memorabilia. This includes many printed materials, medals and even blazers that the school has produced in it’s over 150 year history. Our dedicated historians are still working to expand this collections further, with any donations of memoribila appreciated.
